Day 1 - We Got Muthaf***in' LOBSTERS!

Well, we're off!

While we waited in the airport lounge to board our flight, there were two people waiting near us with their carry-on luggage: Two boxes that read, "Live Lobsters." I couldn't help but wonder what would happen if they got loose on the plane! Call Samuel L. Jackson!

We arrived in Edmonton at about 11:30pm local time (1:30am body time). It was raining, but we didn't get too wet. We got our rental car from two hard-working gentlemen at the rental counter who liked to entertain us with the funny names of some of the people who rent cars from them (they even pulled the names up on the computer screen for our amusement). Luckily they left my name alone. Mr. Focker and Mr. Assman weren't so lucky.

Hopefully we'll be able to keep you updated about all our crazy shenanigans throughout the trip (that will likely be crazier than airports). So far so good!
